Ambulancen

“Ambulancen” (engl.: The Ambulance) is a Danish motion picture. It was the first Danish motion picture that included this amount of visual effects shots. Over 500 shots needed to be done in about 2 months by the effects team. To do that we utilized a special greenscreen keying setup created by lead compositor Alexander Kucera. It was used on most of the shots and enabled the artists to do up to 20 shots per day in cinema quality.

Other effects we did in the movie included putting a photorealistic 3D car into a few shots, creating fluid simulations for blood effects and creating the title sequence in close collaboration with the director.
